Fast rib on southampton water on saturday

Was anyone on here / does anyone know who was in the white & green rib speeding south on southampton water on saturday afternoon? We were in the blue rib going north at the time - at a guess the closing speed was well over 100. :-) It was later moored up at gunwharf; not sure what kind it was, but it had 2x 200hp black outboards on the back.

I don't know who it was but Jasper said it wasted him also. It was an FB rib with Techno engines and it lives in Saxon Wharf on the Itchen.

We have just moved to Saxon wharf and I want to make friends with the owner.

I think Alan Winnett could answer that question because Chris Strickland had the same engines and scared Alan with the figures....

If I recall correctly.......

Chris reckoned on a fiver a mile for his twin 300 promaxes on Seahound. Fuel burn at WOT for race tuned engines has gotta be somewhere around 30gph PER ENGINE!

Performance costs!
