Fiberglass cement safe?

Are polychloroprene contact cements safe to use on fiberglass or will it create a chemical reaction?

Safe; I've seen quite a few boats with tubes glued on.

One of the more experienced tube guys on here can probably give you better guidance, but:

You need to remove any wax before gluing though. Keying the joint area with sandpaper is probably a good idea as well.

Yeah my tubes are glued to my boat. This is for another boat and its not the tubes. I was just curious if contact cement is safe on gelcoat/glass
