Fifty Shades - SR4 Build

I thought I would share this build with you because she's now for sale by the owner that I did the work for and although a lot of the pics were around at the time I'm sure you will find some of this work and build worth a read.

Jumping Jack's spec was to build an SR4 with a large console, foot straps and nav lights suitable for him and his young son to use for fishing.

I wanted to do a complete gelcoat colour change and practice some spraying too

So the deal was done, build a military looking SR4 in grey!

This is the boat that I had for the build...

I knew of a Military light pole that could be taken down in sections, it wasn't easy to get the guy to part with it particularly as it was brand new and still in the box! The original cost of these things are ££££!!

To be continued...

After the paint was removed and in was completely cleaned I did one coat of gel and one of flow coat. Pictures are after the first coat.

The new nav pole fitted in the original oar clips...
