First day out - Awesome - Many thanks to Rogue Wave and Ben

Hi All
Bought my first rib 1 week ago, Avon Searider 5.4 (96) with Yam 60. Met up with Rogue Wave down in Southampton on Sat, very helpful and very willing to share knowledge and experience, invaluable day. First lauch was interresting, but was a great learning experience due to Rogue Wave helping showing us the right way if launching. Ben on Intrepid was on excort dutie for our first run out down the Ichen, and then a fast run up Southampton waters, 27knots top speed with the rain feeling like darts being thrown at your face, but it was bl**dy brilliant.

Engine ran well, very happy, and amazed at how the Searider faired, I now understand why there are so many fans of this well made rib.

Got a hole seasons fun and work ahead doing her up and riding when I can.

Many Thanks to Rogue Wave and Ben this weekend, my first day out on our new rib has gone down as a major success due to these Guys.

Regards

Narcosis

Took camera in dry bag, but the rain was to heavy, and also brain overload on flying and watching where I was going on Southhampton waters, but water proof camera bag already ordered of ebay, so next weekend should get me some pictures in.

Regards

That would be a very interesting piece of knowledge and experience. Has the buoyage of Southampton Water changed over the winter?

I wouldn't get too exited about it Richard , It's just Mr. Manning trying to Discredit me ! He is a little envious that I got a job as a CI at a Powerboat Skool.

As usual with any story or Argument there is his version my version and the Truth...................Only Ben C knows the truth

Sounds like everyones tip toeing around the story, well the funny version anyway, by the sounds of it the true story might be boring, but the rumored story probably is a lot better.

Spill the beans guys , which ever version
