First ever RIB in North Wales ?

My dad brought this RIB in 1979.

People used to gather around it on the beach in Anglesey at that time as they’d never seen a RIB before

My dad thinks it was the first RIB used on Anglesey, maybe even North Wales. Has anyone got an older example ?

Boat is still being used - 3rd Engine and 2nd trailer [emoji1303]

Well, I grew up on Anglesea and my father was a machine archaeologist so boats, diving and stuff all went hand in hand. He was most active from about 1965 though to around 1995. He is on holiday at the moment but as soon as he is back I'll ask him what he used in the mid 70's. From memory it may have been an old metal ex-navy tub but will check.
