First rib, Ribeye 785 vs XS Ribs 700

Looking at these two boats for my first rib for visiting other Channel Islands and France , does anyone have any experience or view s on these two models.

Both boats would do the job nicely. They are somewhat different styles though, and different budgets too. An extra 0.85m and 100hp is not to be sniffed at but will cost you at both the pump and marina/storage fees.

Yep the wife is keen on the Ribeye, although I have read that they suffered from poor build quality in the past, which improved over the years. Had quality improved by 2006?

Cant find much about the ribeye 785 are they considered a good sea keeping boat and does this one look a fair price?
