Looks to be fine weather this weekend so heading out fishing on the rib. Have 1 or 2 spaces on my boat Fri, Sat and Sunday at the moment so if anyone wants to join us or tag along on your own boat give me a call o7970 o67468 for times etc
Not sure what's about yet because haven't been out for ages, but launching from Poole tomorrow heading out into Poole Bay, then Kimmeridge Sat and Sunday probably heading out to wrecks or the Shambles.
We are heading out in our sports dory "Sea Tracer" from Poole at some point tomorrow probably midday'ish, might well join you, were not hot on this fishing lark I might add
Did you catch much today? We didn't head out until 1ish just in time to watch the Hercules dropping some fairly large ribs by parachute out at the back of the bay. Very entertaining!
We fished an old wreck and caught mackerel, pollack, pouting, bream, wrasse, dogfish, gurnard etc has a couple of heavy bites on whole squid baits but I missed them.
Hopefully get the bigger stuff in deeper water tomorrow!
