Fitting Pacific tubes !!

I'm fitting my tubes back on tomorrow night (can't wait) I have all new drilled aluminium flat bar ready to fit inside and out just as original on the main tubes, but I never saw how or if the tubes where fitted to the transom, does anyone know if they just sit on and don't fix !!!

From memory, there's a glued flange either side of the transom, (ie inboard and outboard) and originally there would have been shaped aluminium plates bolted through

Sorry, bloody iPad!
Bolted through the transom, sandwiching the hypalon, which will need to be glued to the transom.
My original plates turned to white powder so I had some made in stainless steel!

On mine there is a flange on the rear of the tubes that goes around the cutout in the transom, It is held on with curved aluminium plates that sandwich the flange to the transom. The front strips along the side are not straight, they have a definite curve upwards as they near the front from about halfway along.
I will be refitting my tubes shortly, not a job I am relishing to be honest. There is something like 360 screws that hold them on.
