fitting screen to console

nearly done , but i dont really want to fit the screen and then have to remove it to clean crap out of the joint, i am considering either a hypalon skirt inside the joint bonded to the screen and console or a bead of sikaflex on the joint, i dont really like to do things twice,

Some black neoprene with a self adhesive backing does a tidy job of it. Available in various thicknesses & widths to suit.

I've seen new boats with a black vinyl strip on the inside of the lexan to mask the "dirt trap". I guess the advantage is that if water does (and it will) gather behind the screen and mist up, then the green scum that grows can't be seen.
