Fitting Seats

Hi,

Having never done this before, before we start the project I thought I'd better get some tips...

We are still looking to change the seating in our RIB and although we haven't decided what we're going to do its likely to be either a self made bench seat, made from marine ply, with gelcoat or alternatively a fibreglass moulded seat.

With regards to attaching either of these to the hull, what is the best recommended way of doing this, is there a particular type of adhesive we should use, or am I way off the mark and its more complex than that?

Many thanks in advance...

Ah is it really that simple?

I'm not sure how thinck the hull is on a Humber Assult, can I assume that a screw, strong/long enough would not go through the hull?

Phone Humber direct fir the deck construction, but as stated, screws and sikaflex is the way to go.
