Fladen sizing
Would like to get myself a Fladen all-in-one flotation suit to make getting ready a bit quicker. I am just over 6ft and average build I suppose. 42inch chest. Will I be fine with the medium? Fladen Rescue System - One Piece Flotation Suits - Model 845 seems to suggest based on chest that would be best.
Secondly, I have finally grown out of my XS sallopettes from over five years ago, I noticed some XM yachting ones on the Marine Megastore site at £25, does anyone have any experience of these or would it be better to go for a normally priced pair at £60 ish because they would last longer? (Current Marinepool have easily lasted five seasons and were only £40 I think)

Tried to think of a witty comeback involving your sizing being in the chest department and mine being in the height...but thought this'd do

Yeah, but most of that is the size of your head. Shoulders to feet are somewhat less

Off on a bit of a tangent - but do bear in mind that if you plan to wear a lifejacket with your Fladen suit, 150N will not be enough. You will need at least 275N to give effective righting

I'd second that too,
We had an angler washed of the local breakwater a few years back he was wearing a floatation suit but no lifejacket ,granted it was rough and near rocks , he was recovered within 15 mins but was sadly dead and face down in the water
