Flatacraft Force 4

Hey guys great forum and great advice found so far.

Finally got round to starting to refurb my flatacraft and a couple of questions have arisen. I was hoping someone could kindly help me with.

1. Front nose looks like someone has added a piece of flat aluminium bar from the top middle to the frame behind that attached to the steering console, presumably this should be removed and i have done so just wanting confirmation this is correct.

2. Should the tubes be attached to this front nose or should the just rest up against it.

3. At present the nose was hinged from the hull by a piece of hypalon and then covered on the outside with a aluminium bar is this correct.

Many thanks in advance

Hi

1) That's not std, but would strengthen the front.
If it goes all the way forward to the flat nose then take it out as the flat front is designed to fold backwards when you stuff the bow into a wave.
It looks really bad at the time, but springs back, Fixing it solid would soon break something.

2) The tubes just rest up against the flat front.

3) That sounds right as well.

Plenty of F4 images in one of my galleries.
