My F4 was overpowered and slightly too tail heavy with a 3 cylinder 1990's DT55.
But went like stink.
The previous engine, a 2 cylinder 1990's DT40 was probably good enough for most situations, but of course was still much lighter than anything around now of the same HP.
I of course wanted to go faster hence the 55.
If I was doing it now I'd try to find a last generation 2-stroke of @45-50HP.
Maybe ETEC, Opti etc.
