Oh, I am in for this one. :-)
I wonder how different this would be from inflatable boat specific stuff like Tuff paint for restoration. I have seen a couple with the paint and they always look like they are painted if you know what I mean.

Anything that says 'as seen on TV' should be avoided. If that doesn't convince you - this is the kind of stringent scientific reviews they rely on, circa 2016!
For adhesive or waterproofing - then stick with Sikaflex products. See what I did there!

What are you hoping to achieve if it’s cosmetic possibly might work if not you have a mess if it is to seal leaking tubes there’s better products that work

yes cosmetic The surface of the hypalon gets pretty hot to the touch in direct sun and I'm looking for ways to temper that a little. I have other ideas but was wondering if anyone applied this to see how well it bonded and lasted. This is just another form of RTV in a spray form which is very useful. I also was looking for applying a non skid surface to the bottom of a cooler chest to stop it from sliding.

Aero space 303 uv protection then, the tubes will stand the heat just keep pressures correct whilst in use and cover the boat when not.

I would hate to spray something on and it not work correctly then you have trouble taking it off. Is that stuff UV stable or will it become sticky in the hot sun?
I have seen fabric covers for tubes. Like sunbrella material. Not sure how well that works but it's and option to cool off the tubes.
As for the cooler sliding around, you could throw a rubber mat on the floor but tying it down is best.

How is it for reducing the surface temperature when you touch it while in the direct sun? Getting in/out if you have to straddle the tube can be pretty hot on the inner thighs.....my girl friend has a few choice words when that happens

Yup you nailed it......A heavy netting will work but I'm trying to avoid stuff that's loose that flails around and/or can fall off. Thanks

Well the product you spec won’t be any different you need something that doesn’t not feel hot on touch such as fabric, wool etc.

Well I think I lost 11 minutes of my life watching that but it firmly indicates the product works as claimed and that's a good thing. The project I have in mind is low on the priority list but if I get to it I'll report on it. Until then world looks much safer with Flex Seal on the job. Go forward and be.....
