French RIB...SSR Part 3...VAT!?

Newbie here...would really appreciate some advice about SSR registration!

I'm buying an old French rib 5.3m. Tried to register the 5.3m on the SSR and they want a Bill of Sale.

Does that need to be the MSF 4705 Rev 1118 Bill of sale or can it just be a simple receipt from the seller.

Boat is VAT paid in EU and I'm worried about VAT being required in UK! Arrgghhh.

Just want to get on SSR part 3.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Are you sure you need a bill of sale? I’d double check that.

Unless I'm missing something, I can't see anywhere on the application where it asks for a bill of sale. It doesn't ask for any proof of ownership or VAT status.
I've registered various vessels over the years & currently have 2 on the SSR. I don't recall ever having to provide a bill of sale. I think you maybe confusing part 3 with part 1.
