From 4 m SIB to Lodestar 430 Rib

Owning a 4 m China SIB + Yamaha 30 (short shaft) in good condition + almost new SIB/RIB Trailer, I'm thinking of just ditching the SIB and getting a Lodestar 430 Rib (because I want to keep the rest of the equipment & the Lodestar is short shaft compatible). What do you think about the Lodestar? Of course it's not an SR4, but will it be a major and worthwhile step? How is the V-shape of its hull? Thanks!

There's a great water performance diffeerence between a sib and a rib. After riding a rib won't like sibs. The hull is probably medium deep, should perform satisfactorily.

Happy Boating

Thanks, good to hear that. Do you think the short shaft will cause any problems with water coming in from the back? And does someone know perhaps any similar Ribs with a short shaft (4.20-4.50, I know, they are quite seldom)?
