Fuel in Fowey
Anyone know where I can fill up the boat in Fowey?
Is the FHC website up to date about fuel on the hard at Polruan?

Checked with Harbour master, No petrol on the water. You will have to tow it to a petrol station or take cans.
I filled cans from Asda in St Austall now at 93p a litre.
There is a Texaco just outside Fowey or a garage near Polperro.
Have fun.
Lantic Bay was great, but watch out for the dodgy looking jelly fish!

Trying to rack my brains now!
I did see a Red Valiant. Did you launch using the slip on the Fowey side of the car ferry?
There was a identical boat to mine on the river on saturday only he had a mariner on the back.
Did you watch the fireworks?
We were watching from the end of the short stay pontoon next to the town quay while eating pasties!
Just managed to get the boat back and tied up before the monsoon hit!

Were you at lantic bay on Saturday?
We were there, mostly trying to shelter from the rain!

Yes we were!
We were the ones hiding under the boat cover, in a makeshift rainshelter/tent style!
We also had a black labrador which enjoyed diving from the boat after tennis balls!
What boat were you in? Was it the red rib with silver suzy engine?

Yes, I saw you with the cover on, I remember wondering how many people were hiding underneath it.
Yes, mine was the red RIB + Suzi, I was sheltering under an upturned tow toy on the rocks!
Did you have a good time in Fowey, Regatta etc?
