Fuel storage

I have a Stingher 6.9 metre RIB with a 250 litre fuel tank. What's the best way to store the boat this winter - with a full tank or an empty tanK? Should I be thinking about fuel additives to preserve it? Or should I try and use up all the remaining petrol or just store it with whatever is in the tank?

Ideally use it during winter - it can be quite nice boating over winter.

Alternatively store your tank full to stop condensation forming.

Petrol stored over winter

Many thanks for the advice - I will fill it up before laying up. Sadly, being on an exposed northeast-facing coastline, it is not really feasible to leave it on its swinging mooring past September - also the insurance stipulates being in commission May - October, so it will be snugged away under cover.
