Fuel Tank

Hello everyone
I'm Jake and new to this forum. I have a 50' Cutter-rigged Sloop and use a Carib L-10 for a tender. I have a 15 hp Merc O/B to push the dink around.

My question is about the external fuel tank. What I would like is a tank that fits on the floor in the bow of the boat. Is there any off-the-shelf tanks that are shaped to fit in the bow?

Alternately, I would like a tank that I could permanently fiberglass into the bow. Has anyone done this? Is it a good idea?

Thanks for the info
Take care, Jake

Hi Jake

Welcome to RIBnet

Have a look at this http://www.tempoproducts.com/2004/ad_fuel_tanks2.html

You should be able to source them locally easily
