Hello for a replacement tank or on a new boat, there are flexible tanks which have a lot of advantages, low weight compared to a stainless steel tank, no need to vent so no gasoline smell, no venting therefore no condensation possible.
Too bad this solution is no longer used or offered!

When we were looking for a new rib it had to be orange and a big uppy pointy nose...we ended up with a delta dash and were dead pleased with it. we thought we wanted below deck tank but it had four 25 litre plastic tanks running to a manifold with four taps, works a treat.under the seats. The big advantage which we hadn't thought of or realised is refuelling is dead easy. some places we go to typically up in scotand and some more remote harbours and beaches only have petrol stations near buy..its dead easy to carry 25 litres and it opens up many traveling options..just a thought.Never have to worry about tank repairs and each winter the tanks are emptied and stored dry..nik
