Fuel tank fastenings

Need advice guys on best way of fastening down fuel tanks with ratchet strap etc, was thinking self tapers but unsure on deck thickness etc
What would be best ??

I fitted flush fitting D rings screwed down on to the deck either side off the tank and then use a quick release strap cut to size. Your floor should be at least 3/4 inch thick.

Use stainless screws and put some sikaflex onto the screws before screwing them down.

Did u pre drill holes with smaller dia drill to stop splitting?

I've got patches with fabric loops weaved into them which are glued to the floor. Saves having to drill holes. The ratchet strap runs around the tank & through the loops

The ratchet strap goes through the 2 loops either side off the tank & then attaches back on to itself
