“Fun on the water” watersports experiences launched at Gunwharf Quays

As many of you will know, some months ago I launched a new business called “fun on the water”. We are a watersports experience company, based at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. As well as doing RIB trips from Gunwharf, we have recently started selling watersports experience vouchers, which make ideal Christmas and birthday presents. Vouchers start at just £15, and are valid for 12 months. The great thing about them if that the recipient chooses which activity they do, which means no-more unwanted presents, or having to choose for them!

All of our vouchers sold between now and Christmas come in a smart gift box, and can be posted out to anywhere in the UK free of charge, either direct to you, or to the recipient.

We have teamed up with several local watersports and charter companies to offer the following experiences. The recipient can choose one experience per voucher:

£15 – taster experience: RIB “Forts blast”, practise paddle in a kayak, try dive.

£49 – silver experience: half day RIB adventure, half day yacht sailing, half day Thames barge sailing, Honda race boat driving taster.

£99 – gold experience: full day RIB adventure, full day yacht sailing, full day Thames barge sailing, Honda race boat driving experience, three hour one-to-one wind surfing lesson.

£149 – platinum experience: Suzuki Hypercat driving experience, Sunseeker experience, full day RIB adventure for two, helicopter tour of Portsmouth Harbour.

The majority of the experiences above take place at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. We will be adding to the above list shortly, so there will be an ever increasing selection of experiences to try.

To buy, or to find out more, please either log onto our website: www.funonthewater.biz, call our booking line on 02392 528447, or visit out kiosk in the central square (opposite Fat Face) at Gunwharf Quays. We are open during standard Gunwharf opening times: 10-7 Monday – Friday (9pm on Thursdays), 9-7 Saturdays, and 10-5 on Sundays. We accept all major cards.

As a special offer for RIBnet folk, if you buy ANY of the above vouchers, and redeem them for a RIB Forts blast, half or full day adventure, another guest may go free! (Please mention RIBnet offer when booking).

Nice one Tim, best of luck.

How about getting one of the local PBIs to do an introduction to powerboating course in the 149 bracket?

We have just done a deal with a helicopter charter company - trips around Portsmouth Harbour start from just £49 with our "silver" voucher. Details will appear on the website tomorrow. This makes a fantastic Christmas present for those of you who live in the area - you'll even get a chance to wave at people at the top of the Spinnaker tower
