garmin 100 fish finder

Does anyone no which pins are the positive and negative on the old garmin 100.i was given it by a mate and don't no if it working or not.or does anyone have a cheap used harness for sale ?

Don't know which is positive and negative, but I have a working one in my console. If you are anywhere near me, (oldham), you're welcome to bring it and I'll plug it in and see if it works.

Isn't one of the wires black with a white line on it? Think mine was and I put that on the +ve. The other wire is just black. Maybe I'm wrong but I think that's how my 100 was set up from memory. Fuse of course in line on the + side.

Wire it wrong and it just won't start...according to the instructions...give it a go.
