Neil - I have stopped at the Gazelle and loved it. Had the 'granny flat' thing and it was an amazing view in the morning - I could of stopped forever! Was tempted to claim squatters rights and quit leave the 9-5 work life behind! Where are you launching and keeping the rib, If you could keep them at the Gazelle and use the slip there that would be brilliant, but I dont think I could get down the 'lane'
I would still go! You can normally find a nice bit of water, as you have the option to go one way or the other...

We have stayed before when Mary had it but not in the cottage. Spoke on the phone to them and they say they now have a mooring so the plan is to launch with Chris at ty calch Saturday and leave the trailer and car there. Use the mooring overnight and out again Sunday then recover back with Chris 👍

How are you going to get back and forth from the mooring?
I didnt know they had moorings! This is some useful information for a little trip with a comfy bed for the night!

Heading up whitby for the day . Taking cousin and his lad out for first time . I have not even got the tie of having booked accommodation so I am not sure about my mental state .
Fry up in the singing kettle should be worth it on its own
