My Missus is a typical tight Yorkshire "Late Adopter" It took me 20 years to get her to wear a drysuit rather than the tired walking gear that got relegated to "boat gear". After a dunking in the Humber I put my foot down & got her a Typhoon, she's never looked back, warm, dry comfy. I thought I was pushing my luck with the Geckos, but as Maximus says, you'll never go back. They make a rough passage (ooer!) a pleasant experience, long after you've forgotten how much they cost. When it's coming at you horizontally, you don't care how much they cost (in the big scheme, pennies) they are worth it.
