Gecko tinted visor

Does anyone use a smoke tinted visor with their Gecko helmet. I'm thinking of purchasing one to use as an alternative to wearing sunglasses with the helmet. Does this visor work as well as sunglasses?

We use both clear and tinted and I much prefer the tinted to wearing sunglasses. I would definitely recommend them.

ideally you'd have polarised sunglasses on the water, afaik, the Gecko visors ain't.

I use both Nick, tinted visor and polarised sunglasses, works well for me, I found the plain visor still let too much light in for me, but maybe it's just me n me allergies

Hi
Using any kind of tinted lens/visor without UV protection is not recommended for bright light conditions, so a combination would be the best option if the visor is not UV400.

From their website:
The clear visor provides 97% UV protection while the smoked and dark visors provide 100% UV protection.
