Gel coat repair - emergency

Numpty Q time again:

When the inevitable happens, and I scrape off some of the gel coat to reveal fibreglass matting....

...what do I need to carry to effect a temporary repair?

Some kind of epoxy ?

You will be able to spec the colour if you order gelcoat filler from East coast fibre supplies
