Snap.
Sunny holiday days with rugrats and wife with food and some animal/scenery/house watching, pottering and/or just on the plane.
Then cruising in full gear with a friend when I spend some brownie points enjoying the sea.

I picked my wife after several years of auditioning.
So she enjoys the same hobbies / activities as me. In fact she pretty much chose our RIB when we were at the boat show last year.
So she will come out with me probably every time.

So true, life's too short to be unhappy.

Definitely more dangerous! Firstly if you were to be thrown off the rib and left behind it appears your wife might actually notice, secondly when you 'advise' her on corrections she ought to make to her navigation or speed choices she doesn't throw her toys out of the pram, attack you, or stop and refuse to do anything and sulk for the rest of the day!
Being on the rib together is great though because we use it to get to nice places where we can go underwater and spend prolonged periods of time without being able to verbally argue with each other ;-)

Yes, my girlfriend only likes coming out with me if its hot or warm, no wind and flat calm conditions, hence she has only been out three times, having said that the first outing was through the overfalls near st aldhelms head with waves of over 3 metres so surprised she ever came out with me again. LOL... I dont even go through overfalls that big anymore as it scared me a trifle. LOL
