Hi Scud ..the Glenuig Inn used to have half a dozen or so moorings .. marked Glenuig Inn ..and you paid the fees at the inn. Its changed hands since those days so I cant confirm if they still have them.

However if you phone the Glenuig Inn..(the number is easy to find as I don’t want to post it here) they will confirm or at least give you the info you need.

Hi Gurnard, thanks, I’ve emailed them and my host is looking into it as well. It’s changed hands from the previous owner about 18 months ago

I was willing to anchor in Roshven bay but I contacted the property owner, out of courtesy and he didn’t want me to, so I won’t. My understanding is that no one can stop me but I don’t need the hassle.

Yeah there are boats moored at Roshven too. I have noticed the locals getting a bit standoffish because of the many campervans that park all along that area since staycations started.

Many laybys have been bouldered off and so has the beach access I used to use in Loch Ailort. I noticed last time I passed the fishermen had blocked off half the slipway at Glenuig because they were fed up with folks using it and delaying their boats which are working boats.

PM A1an of this forum..he is local and of good standing with the natives and will know the score if Glenuig Inn don’t respond. I keep well away the past couple years as its just getting too popular up there now.

Have you tried Roshven Moorings Association or some of the local Facebook pages? I am sure someone will pick up your message. I've messaged a friend who had a mooring at Roshven

My host has assured me everything will be sorted for when I get up there. I’ll just have to trust. Thanks for your help.
