Glue

Just bought a section of D stake and it has turned up pre-keyed and pre-glued i.e. a film of glue already applied and dried. Is this normal? How should I approach glueing to hyperlon, apply a new layer prior to bonding, or use existing layer?

Thanx in advance for any advice.

D.

Ah, it depends how long it has been pre-glued for. Generally this is a good thing and a wipe with solvent before applying the adhesive is all that is needed. However, if it's been glued for a long time, you may find that the new adhesive will not stick firmly.

Been there, done that.
I suggest you phone and find out.
