Glue for Glue On Rod Holders

I got these Brocraft Glue On Boat Rod Holders for my little PVC Newport.... and of course I have to get the right glue. I thought I'd get a lot of results from searching "glues"... but there is too many results. Can I just use the same glue that I use for patching the boat? Frankly I'd rather have the rod holder come off the boat than damage the PVC boat itself.

This is what I've got: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KV1GWWC...roduct_details

What do you use for patching the boat? A good 2 part glue will do the trick. I like Stabond which can be had from NRS. Sand the bottom of the rod holders with something like a 60 grit. Mark out where they are going to go on the tubes and put masking tape all around. As also stated in the add you need to heat them and pre-form them to the tubeset. Let them cool than you can put glue on both sides, after wiping with MEK or Acetone if you can't get MEK. Personally I would put a couple inch overlay of fabric over the top of the rod holders. NRS sells fabric also.

My rod holder bases are made from PVC so I was able to use PolyMarine 2 part glue for PVC.

Check with the seller to see what those ones are made from. If they're not PVC then you'll either need a primer for them, or use a different glue that works with both materials (Stabond and a few others).
