Glueing Advice Please

Just brought some replacement lifeline patches for my Searider, complete with the hypalon glue...

The glue instructions say to apply the tacky patches with as much force as possible - whats the best way to do this?

Do I pump the tubes up hard and tape them down or do I deflate the tube and clamp them between 2 pieces of wood?

SG

Glueing

The best tool to use for a repair like this is a seam roller used for wallpapering, you can buy them at B&Q etc, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than making up one for proffesional use, you should blow the tubes up hard and roll in the patch using as much pressure as you can.
