Gosport And Fareham Inshore Rescue Service
Paged just after 22:00 last night by Solent Coastguard to a 8m RIB with engine failure at Southeast Ryde Middle buoy , central Solent.
Gosport lifeboat launched and located vessel and towed to Gosport marina.
The 3 men on board all had correct safety equipment.
Lifeboat rehoused at 23:45

On a couple of other forums that I frequent there is a ' learn from mistakes' page. Knowing that things go wrong both from a person opps moment and from a kit perspective, what can we learn from last night??
