Go out and buy/order/subscribe to Rib International

Hello folks

Right, now you really MUST go out and buy/subscribe/order RIB INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE http://www.ribmagazine.com/index.htm

Why? Because then you will be able to read the artice by Mr Brackets himself, moi, your truly, me. Yes and see the incredible photographs taken by ace freelance photographer Natalie Hart (youngest daughter of WGS).

I've spoken to Hugo and it is scheduled for the Jan/Feb issue. You have been warned. Go and order it or subscribe now or you will hurt my delicate feelings (who the heck does he think he's kidding, there's nothing delicate about Keith Hart) [Davison get out of my reply - KH].

Keith (I told you I would do it) Hart

Yes, I could, but then RI would be deprived of a great article and photos. Don't be such a cheapskate. Go out and support RI.

Don't you hate it when someone says, I told you so???'

Well, I told you so!

Well done Mr Hart, cannot wait to read the article. Did you manage to include some photos which are going to be published?

Congratulations Keith

Congrats Keith. I assume you were paid an acceptable fee for the article? (I am not suggesting you tell us how much but I would like to think that you are recompensed for your effort!)

I might even go buy the issue. Assuming of course I can find a copy for sale in a Newsagent. (Somewhat difficult it seems.) I will not be renewing my subscription quite yet - 1 SIB article doesn't make a magazine !

Thank you. Yes Charles there are photographs. My youngest daughter Natalie, 22yrs, freelance photographer and film person, came up to Scotland with us and did the photos.

Alan, yes I am being paid a commercial rate for the article. So it's win win all round.

I had a great time doing the photos, Natalie and I get paid, you lot get the pleasure of reading it, and Hugo gets an article for his magazine.

Just a thought but I reckon one issue costs about the same as warming the engines up on your rib.

Good one Keith, I think this is a good move it certainly would improve RI for us.

Guys, re the money Keith's being paid, or anybody else then I guess that's gotta be private, suffice it to say that we have had enough warnings to ensure that the articles writer is suitably recompensed. if not then they are rather obtuse and need to learn the hard way perhaps.

If anybody wants to write an article for free then why not send it in to JK for publication here.

I would like to se an alternative to Rib Int so if any of you get it together I'll take out a subscription, but until then if RI is the only show in town it make sense to improve it.

Keith is it true that you are writing an article on towing SIBS with a 3 * 3

Regards
Stuart

Keith - is your fee based on the number of subscribers?

Alright, I will make every effort short of subscribing to get hold of that copy of RI (I'm not keen on paying for a years worth of the things just to read your one little article!).

Matiboy

There is a newsagent near us that sells it in Bitterne but you can also get it from Alldays in Hamble. If you want a copy of the issue with Keith's article in I can always get it for you and you can pick it up from our offices in Whiteley

regards
Stuart

Yessir!

Whether the article is little or not isn't really the point though. The point is, is it big enough to deserve a full year's subscription?

Matt ((I pray to thee oh lord of the SIBs (and I'm being informal too))
