I wore a borrowed gecko once in light rain to change my view on them, and Mrs P thought I was bonkers when I bought 4, but immediately changed her mind the first day out in spray.

*i use the term generically like Hoover and have nothing against Gath etc as alternative.

It took me 25 yrs to get Mrs BP to wear a drysuit, an impromptu dunking in the Humber swayed her mind. I thought I was pushing my luck when I ordered 2 Geckos without an executive order. When I casually dropped news of the purchase into a discussion about general household budgetry, the response was "good idea, I was going to suggest that". Talk about knock me down with a feather! They are worth their weight in gold[emoji106]

Other protective headgear is available

Sky diving goggles i have foound work best and they are not expensive either. Have both clean and tinted one on board.
