Currently got a week off, all the chores are done, the landy and boat have been "fettled" and tomorrow's forecast is good! The last thing to do is to wash the boat, but that's usually done AFTER I've been out so I might have to take the boat for a dust off and check out the new plotter/sounder and Biffers top notch rewiring!

I'm sure we could both continue making adjustments to this, adding that, moving the other, but for now I'll try to get out. Good luck for your "new season".

Well, I made it out to the entrance of Northney marina - and then the oil light came on with the flashing engine management light!

I came back in, did a few checks, spoke to the outboard engineers up in their workshop, tinkered some more, got the oil light to go but the EM still flashes.

I've done a complete oil change on my drive this afternoon as the EM checks for contaminated oil as well as the amount, so I may take it back out again tomorrow to see if that fixes it, but otherwise I've come to the conclusion it might be expensive!
