Good price and excellent service on hitch locks.
I've just bought myself a new Bulldog hitch lock for my trailer from these guys and it came in at £10 less including VAT and delivery than the purchase price pre-delivery from most other suppliers.
It arrived within 24 hours too.

Matt,
Which one did you go for.
We've got similar trailers and I presume similar hitches. I've got a bulldog hitchlock which doesn't fit so I'd need to make sure I get the right one.
Nick.

Does the lock cover the mounting bolts that fit the coupler to the trailer tongue? If not, it's simply a matter of removing the 2 or 3 bolts, tossing aside the locked coupler, and bolting a spare coupler on. WOuld take a thief about 5 minutes (of course, if you were replacing the coupler on your own trailer, it would be an hour job...)
Wheel clamps or heavy duty bicycle-type cables through the wheels are more secure (though a determined thief can get by those as well.)
I understand you're trying to make the next guys' trailer look more inviting than yours, but let's face it: most security products are to keep honest people honest. They won't stop someone who really wants your property.

It's really about meeting insurance requirements-the Bulldog hitchlocks are insurance approved and it makes it a lot harder for them to be awkward if the boat gets stolen. A hitchlock and wheelclamp are pretty much mandatory insurance requirements here.

Ditto.
Mines off a caravan and it doesn't fit the boat trailer.
