Emporiabrava

I would suggest Emporiabrava too. We did not stop there but it looked ideal if you could get a villa with a mooring at the bottom of the garden.

With all the will in the world you cant Rib in the UK with your shirt off. Check the youtube video Degandjo have just posted on Youtube

Still reckon Anglesey and the Menai is one of the best ribbing places for all sorts of reasons. I still have such a lot to explore in North Wales. One of my favourite places to stop is just off Llandwyn and take a look around you. Its just magic!!!!

@Maximus - I like pictures of the UK ribbing. Nature, clear Sea.

But I was looking last year at UK weather ...
Sorry - not my climate (temperature, rain, Sea temp. ...).

OK. TO Croatia I have 1400 km. To Graz 850 km. It took me 10-11 hr of driving from Warsaw to Graz with break for dinner, petrol, ... .

Next day 5-6 hrs from Graz to Tisno - highways only. I'm not young or master driver.
I towed trailer first time in my life in 2015 (I made in 2015 special drive licence B96 for that).

For me (and family) this trip to Croatia is really nothing even for 1 week (we started at Sat and started returned trip at Sat also)

To Trieste I have very good highways also (it is 1100km) and I made it at once driving slowly about 12-13 hrs. Next step is to relax 24 hrs in the cabin or upper deck ferry going to Greece.

But of course Spain is in range of UK citizens also.
Calais - Lorret De Mar is about 1250 km

Based on my friend experience it is much easier to rent house with swimming pool in Spain than in Croatia or Greece.

For me Spain is far-far away It is 2400 km.
And to Greece I have 1100 to Triest and do not count ferry Triest -> Greece (it is relax)

But it be very nice to meet in person somewhere with RIB.net people.
My target in 2017 is to meet @Jeff in Paxos.

Base for cruising the Adriatic islands between Dubrovnik and Split

Hi Chillee,
I suggest you to look at this channel:

It's an ideal starting point and base to spend holiday cruising the Adriatic between Dubrovnik and Split, at the first place the area between peninsula Peljesac and islands of Hvar and Korcula.
My relatives there could help you with providing a suitable trailering location as well accommodation in one of their holiday apartments.
Contact for any additional information.

Kind regards
Radmil

Boating in the Adriatic with free berth

An excellent opportunity for boating in the Adriatic (the area between the River Neretva Delta, the Peljesac peninsula and the islands of Hvar and Korcula) with a free birth when renting a modern holiday apartment at this site:

Holiday apartment Ploce-Blace CDR240 NOVASOL

To get a picture of boating in the local area and even going to fishing with your host:

Very easily accessible moorings to go with all types of RIBS.

Possibility to use the garage at the seafront holiday home.

Contact if necessary for further information as well as planning your RIB holiday there.

The best regards
Radmil

I ended up in Lake Annecy this year. Great location but weather has been bit hit and miss.. Thanks for all the great suggestions.. I will look into some of these for next year. Empuriabrava in Spain as mentioned in this thread I can also recommned. We have taken our boat for many years next door to Camping Nautic Almata.
