Actually, despite the propaganda, I thought this issue was a better read, by far, than the previous one.

OK son, admission time...Long, long ago, when I thought RIB & small boat, as it was then, spoke the truth, I took their advice and bought a piece of Autohelm gps equipment which they, and Blue V at Port Edgar, said was the beez neez. Broke the bank it did. Anyway, what a piece of shit it turned out to be. Supposed to be waterproof...it was constantly wet and the screen virtually turned black when the sun shone on it. This was pre colour LCDs. Autohelm replaced it and the replacement was eaqually shit, I even opened it and put a couple of resitors at the bottom of the screen to heat it up inside. Didn't do any good. RIB Itnl actually did one of their end of season equipment appraisals and it turned out theirs was shit too...now they tell me!
Lesson learned.
Edit: You just changed yer post ya bugger!

If i am honest i would rather take the opinion of some one on here than from a book/mag
as it normally turns out that by doing some sort editorial/ test
its tied in with an advertising contract, we humans are funny things if we read about it one month then see a glossy add the next, we are like moths to the light.
