Grand ribs????

Hi,

Considering looking a grand silverline 470L. Has any one had any experience with these ribs in terms of reliability handling etc.... It would have a 50hp Evinrude on the back. Thanks for any help!

I have a Grand Goldenline 380 and am wrapped with it. 40HP 2 stroke and it goes like a scolded cat

My build thread is here if your interested, pretty sure the console I used was out of a 470.

Only issue I have had is they poorly fitted the drain plug, but that was easy enough to remove and refit with an appropriate amount of Sikaflex.

I know nothing about the Grand ribs but there is a fair chance you might be buying from Wills at Kingsbridge. If you are our experience over thirty years of dealing with them has been excellent. They sold my last boat on brokerage and got me a great price, having sold it to me and supplied it originally.

If you're not buying through Wills apologies

Yes it would be through wills. We have a 4.2 rib that they make themselves at the moment and its great for us and for the price. Robs brilliant down there, they couldnt be better. They have a 470 grand there right now full spec with 50hp for £10995 brand new. Thought it qas a great price!
