I take the oppurunity to invite y in our Greek association of RIBS.
www.ofse.gr
you may see our smal and big raids including some of the greek boats manufacturers and also get an idea of how our country is.
unfortunately is better detailed in Greek language but nobody is perfect.
I would be happy to give any info needed to explore more....

Maybe sometime you would like to visit us as adventure......

HI everybody

In an attempt to broaden the info submitted I wish you to know that there are numerous RIB clubs & associations in Greece.

Websites might not be in English and will be ALL Greek to you but sending an email (even to the webmaster) you’ll get a reply in English.

Nice to see RIBs are really popular in Greece - it proves they aren't only suited to rough seas.

@codprawn
We do get rough seas around here as well.
RIBs are popular in Greece firstly for being safe at rough seas and then for their ability to approach the numerous shallow water beaches around the isles.

I know you can get some very nasty waves but you don't get them as often!!! The Atlantic combined with some of the biggest tides in the world give us Brits some pretty nasty conditions.

I am sure most of us would swop for your conditions any day!!!

Ah!Now if only I could have my rib in Porto Spilia in Spartohori harbour,Megannisi Island enjoying a cold beer and a plate of Taramosalata in the sun,instead of £2.50 a pint of lager arguing with the folly taxi driver again cos I moored in his space on a rainy day
