Greyhound needs new owner.

Is this Jimbo's poor old boat up for sale again after one trip with its new owner.

By the way I've been on this boat when it had its previous engine on and I was well impressed.

I owned it before Jimbo and can say it was outstanding - lots of fun. I have no idea how that engine performs on her and how she is balanced, but the hull is very capable.

Between the time and money spent on her by Jimbo and Tim, she must be well together.

Guess its getting hard for students.

And ex students!

Andy is correct, both Tim and I spent a lot of time and money on her. I was lucky that when I bought her from Andy, she had been so well looked after, all she needed was minor tweaking to get her back on the water. Unfortunately, engine failure, electronics theft, and my change in circumstances meant she had to be sold, and Tim took her on.

She goes quite well with the 115 Merc, although not as quick as the 115 yam! Tim has now sold her to make way for new projects (as usual!) and she is, I believe, heading off to Ireland.

As for me, I'm looking to go back to sail!

That boat has seen some amazing things over the years ... here is one of them:

In those days ...notice a lack of RIBs. Now they wont let us get close to these sorts of things in our boats and there are 20x as many small boats, mainly RIBs.

Lets hope it enjoys a good life in ireland.

Jimbo is corrent. I sold her yesterday and will be going off to Ireland in the next few days. She was a great boat for the few times I have taken her out over the last few weeks, but I'm making way for something else.
