Gumtree Searider worth saving

Spotted this on Gumtree the other day

https://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/a...ine/1319180282

£500 with a yamaha 2 stroke. These are probably the best Gumtree ad pics yet!!!

I dont know if it's been abandoned and somebody is just trying there luck but I've allready bought 1 boat this month!

Surely gotta be worth it with that engine even if it is a breaker

I wouldn't give it a second glance. That motor has obviously been submerged for a period of time and that boat has been neglected for quite a while.

The amazing thing is 2 of the tubes still have air in - they really built those boats!

Only the hopelessly romantic need apply.

Good luck to anyone that takes it on but I would see that as an excuse to build a 'new' Searider.

I thought that might happen so I took a note of the phone number on the advert!

07738170958

Even if the engine has been dipped its gotta be worth a £300 take it away offer in my opinion.

Good luck!

I don't think it's worth anything and it'll cost about £500 to get it removed and properly scrapped/recycled.

It's time for it to go to the great boatyard in the sky.

The right person could get that going well I recon. No need to throw stuff away just because it needs some work. It aint always about the money either sometimes it is about the challenge and sense of acheivement

the tubes are much better than my boat (but not for long )

Just thought I would throw it out there, I've never seen a searider past it yet!

Good luck with it, I once had one that had been in the water for a couple of years but not on the beach like this.
There are good boats available that have been well looked after for not a lot of money.
