Gunwharf

Just a heads up for anyone intending to pick up or drop passengers at Gunwharf , we arranged to pick up a friend today and they wanted to charge him £4 each way !
When he pointed out that last time we had paid £8 for a short stay for lunch with 6 people on board there was no response. They seem quite aggressive in their attitude so we are meeting our next group of friends at KB Boatyard where Tim has a much more friendly set up .

Is it just me that thinks I'd have dropped them off at Camber instead?

HI Guys,

Thanks Lurcher, we do run a very friendly and helpful service here at KB however, I need to point out that the KB pontoons are for the use of KB Dry Stack customers only.

You can off-load or collect people on the quayside or on the Millennium Pontoon however there is officially a charge made by the Harbour Master of £1.49 per person (covers off-load and re-load or vice versa).

But as I say, we are very friendly and will always help out if we can. If you have any queries feel free to call us on 023 9283 3166.

Here's to a great summer!!!

Steve

Is the slip at camber not a suitable place to drop and recover pax ? I have out pax ashore there many a time. As long as you stop and go don't think you will cause an issue as its normally deserted. Failing that put them overboard and let them swim ashore.
