Halkey Roberts Valve Cap problems

I am looking for 5 discontinued Halkey Roberts long 690-BV valve caps. There are two lengths of the valve cap and the longer ones have been discontinued. Maybe someone has a few used ones they can part with?? They are a bayonet style cap.

It seems like if I can't find the valve caps I will have to cut out the existing valves then patch and install new valves that aren't discontinued. Is there any other way to install new valves without making slits to remove the old female part of the valve inside the tube? Thx.

Try NRS (www.nrsweb.com); they used to stock all of HR valves and caps (don't know if they still do.)
