So I'm sure a lot of u have seen my build thread, but today was the 1st launch, she went very well seen 35knts but will try a few props and try and squeeze a little more yet. So what do u guys think of the it

Those look like 6dB fiberglass units? They look great and I considered them for my lady but ruled them out because:

1. 6dB antenna have a "flatter" plane - if the boat rolls (or you wanna look sporty) then you're potentially not going to have as good a TX as with a 3dB unit. Patently this doesn't matter in the Solent - matters for me though! So I went 3dB and only aim for slightly sporty.
2. They're much more likely to fracture and fail.

I like your twin VHF install. I did this too - I think it works extremely well if attending to a pair of channels (with potentially 16 as well)
