Har har! Me Outboard engine parts have arrive, arrr!

Finally, today a nice package in the post setting me £220,- (!) back.
It has only taken since about late august up till now to receive the new coils i needed. The boat is 40% cleaned with 303 and is now sitting on its side in hibernation position against our cliff of our hill... poor thing...

Dont think ill go out this winter unless weather takes a turn the good way... still around 60% of the boat to clean up with hard intensive labour, and no trailer to stick the boat onto... also need to revarnish the transom, paddles, floor... i got a fancy remote to go on my outboard, but i dont have the bits to hook it up to the engine...

Tons and tons to do around the house at the moment, building a new shed and garage, sticking a new caravan halfway up the hill... a new tractor to play with etc etc....

I hope to get this damn outboard going, all i need are six bolts to secure the coils down and they are a strange type, which appearently aren't in production, and nobody has them in stock... probably going to have to settle for a B&Q approach!

Sorry, felt bored and had the urge to share this!

Glad to hear you've made some progress... even if it is £220 later! Now all you'll have to do is dig your poor little boat out of the snow to fit them.

No snow yet!

The thing im worried about is the boat getting damaged, my dad has taken his boat out of the water so now the inflatable has no trailer to sit on.. so it would have to sit on the ground!

Think im just going to fire the thing up in a wheelybin and see what happens.. lets hope i get the coils on the right way round, cylinder 1 on cylinder 1, if not, might be in for a nasty suprise!
