How can this be a rib without inflatable sponsons. Think it comes under the hard boat category.

It'l never catch on.
Are you sure they are not just deflated

There was a piece about it on South Today yesterday. Seems that they need a calm period to go for the record.
Perhaps you should give them a ring and say you know a couple of girls who dont care about a few waves when going around an island.

Kathleen......KATHLEEN...........now where has she gone?

You're a philosopher Mr. Halliday sir. The Forum needs lateral thinkers so keep up the good work.

When's the next Churchillian or should we all wait till Sept and have school hols?

Thank you Kathleen, but not enough to go over to the dark side.

I'm a bit old for school holidays. Oh, you mean the kids school holidays.

Nasher slipped in Monday 9th August at the end of the last Solent RIBeers thread. Could be a good time to plan the fireworks raid face to face.

The boat is the largest Bladerunner ever produced. I think these guys did the trip in a Revenger rib last time. They have postponed the start numerous times already due to the weather. Maybe they should have used a rib again this time

Here is a link to their site.
