yes, will be departing Brightlingsea and heading up and overnighting.
Grateful for any suggestions for low cost digs in the area if anyone has any recommendations?

Where abouts do you want to stay? Unless we already have a load of bookings I'm sure GYC could find you a space on their pontoon, and there's a Holiday Inn Express a 5 min walk away.

Currently looking at capsule hotels near Tower Bridge, we will be locking in at St Kats.
I begrudge spending silly moment for a hotel that we will only stay in for a few hours.
