Help/advice Please

Hi everyone! A quick first post from me on engine performance.I would like some advice whether a 200hp engine is suitable for a 7.8m RIB. The uses are cruising, fishing offshore, teenagers water skiing. Ie typical all round.

This is my first RIB purchase so I want to ensure that the configuration works. I am also looking at a 5.85 with a 140hp

Thanks

Good Evening and welcome to Ribnet,
Yes 200 hp should be fine on that size, but all depends exactly which outfits your looking at,
If you could post more info, with pics i'm sure someone on here could advise you further.
All the best.

I depends on the 200 and the RIB it's going on! That combination should be fine in every circumstance, we are based in Salcombe so if you come over this way say hi!

Thank you for the advise. I will pop over, particularly as the boat will be based in Plymouth.
